Values & Ethos
At Paws & Claws Veterinary Physiotherapy, my approach is guided by compassion, evidence-based practice, and collaboration.

Patient-centred care is at the heart of everything I do. Every animal is treated as an individual, with careful consideration given to their physical ability, emotional wellbeing, and unique circumstances. I aim to make each session as positive and stress-free as possible, adapting techniques to suit nervous, reactive, or pain-sensitive patients.

I am committed to evidence-based physiotherapy, using current research, clinical reasoning, and professional guidelines to inform treatment choices. Where appropriate, I integrate a range of therapeutic modalities to support healing, improve function, and enhance quality of life — always within my professional scope.

Fear Free and Cat Friendly principles underpin my clinical practice. I prioritise gentle handling, clear communication, and pacing sessions around the animal’s comfort levels, particularly for cats and anxious dogs.

I strongly value collaborative working with veterinary surgeons and other animal health professionals. Physiotherapy works best as part of a wider care team, and I am dedicated to open communication, transparency, and supporting veterinary-led diagnosis and treatment plans.

Above all, my goal is to help pets move more comfortably, recover more effectively, and enjoy a better quality of life — whether that’s returning to sport, maintaining independence in later years, or simply moving with less pain day to day.
