Flyball is a high-impact, repetitive sport that places strain on the shoulders, spine and hindlimbs. Physiotherapy focuses on injury prevention, recovery and long-term joint health.

 

Common focus areas:

  • Shoulder and elbow joints

  • Lumbar spine and pelvis

  • Muscle fatigue and repetitive strain

 

Flyball-specific exercises may include:

  • Shoulder stabilisation exercises

  • Hindlimb strengthening for push-off power

  • Core control to support spinal health

  • Recovery-based soft tissue techniques post-competition

 

Physiotherapy is provided under veterinary referral or consent.
